It’s all too easy to buy into society’s distorted perspectives on curing and healing, illness and loss, death and dying. When things go south in our life, we are often taught to tough it out on our own, and to deny our feelings of pain, sadness and grief. It’s important to gather together, and hear again and again that there’s nothing inherently wrong with us, that we are unconditionally healthy regardless of circumstances, and that our difficulties can lead to growth and transformation.
